Introduction
The financial statements are the key documents that would give any interested person an insight into the financial aspects of any organization be it “for profit” or “not for profit”. Understanding these statements and being able to use them effectively enable any managers to evaluate the financial performance as well as the financial position of the entity in determining the relationship risks with the said entity. Such relationships may include investing, business partnership, credit assessment, etc.

Facilitator
Mr. Winson Han is a Chartered Accountant by profession and has over 25 years of experience having served in various roles as practicing accountant, company secretary, financial controller and management consultant. He is also an accredited Certified Trainer by the Human Resource Development Fund (PSMB).
He has facilitated many public and in-house seminars in financial analysis, financial planning & budgeting, credit and collections for clients like Sime Darby, TNB, TM, RHB Bank, MIA, CIMA, etc over the years. He is also the principal facilitator for “Financial Analysis and Valuation”, a core paper for a post graduate diploma in applied finance and investment awarded by FINSIA, Australia.
Mr. Han holds a degree in commerce from New Zealand and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries.
He is now the managing consultant of Arrow Consulting Team Sdn Bhd, a company that specializes in assisting the small and medium enterprises in bringing about improvement in its business processes and profitability. Controlling and reducing cost is an integral part of the business process.
